In this brief article that teaches through a learn-by-example approach, we will know how to create our own rss feed using the rss version 2.0. Below is my feed code of RSS version 2.0. To make your own also just place your own item, title, description, image, url, link and pubdate between the tags. And then save the file in your directory with a file name and a file extension of .xml Note: in place of the * (asterisks), use the < > tag signs. You can also add or lessen items depending or your preference, with 10 items as the maximum. *rss version="2.0"* *channel* *title*Catholic Internet Mission*/title* *link*http://www.pcentral-online.net*/link* *description*by Dennis-Emmanuel Cabrera*/description* *image* *url*http://www.vatican.va/liturgy_seasons/img/pentecost_it.jpg*/url* *title*PCentral Online WebNetwork*/title* *link*http://pentecost.pcentral-online.net/central.html*/link* */image* *item* *title*In case you get lost inside PCentral Online *link*http://hsm.esmartweb.com*/link* *description*In case you get lost and want to find your way back to PCentral Online WebNetwork, you can go to Holy Spirit Ministries website. And just replace my www.pcentral-online.net/rss-feeds.xml with your own RSS .xml file. I also wrote about making an RSS file at From Galilee to the Internet. I place there a few URLs that you may need for reference. And also, to check if the RSS feed you created is OK, you can validate it through - http://feedvalidator.org. This RSS validator will check if your RSS feed has coded properly. God bless and good luck! Dennis-Emmanuel Cabrera
